Biography

Kayla’s experience in Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Tax Law gives her a unique perspective when working with individuals and businesses on their needs. Kayla understands that individuals and small business owners want quality legal representation and advice, as well as the peace of mind that comes from understanding tax implications and closing costs. Whether it be closing on the sale or purchase of a client's home, filing or amending tax returns, seeking a resolution for back taxes that clients may owe, or creating a trust and estate plan, Kayla is happy to help her clients navigate this complicated and ever-changing area of the law.

A lifelong resident of Illinois, Kayla grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and attended North Central College, where she graduated cum laude with a double major in finance and economics and a minor in mathematics in 2012. Kayla then went on to graduate cum laude from the John Marshall Law School in 2017 and earned her L.L.M. in Taxation in 2020.
